1. Payment and Subscription Validity Period
1.1. Payment is made by prepaying for 8 lessons (a monthly subscription). Paid lessons are valid for the duration of a calendar month (30 or 31 days) from the date of the first payment or the first lesson.
1.2. Paid 24 lessons (a semester subscription) are valid for 90 calendar days from the date of the first payment or the first lesson.
1.3. After the subscription period expires, unused lessons are annulled.
1.4. Payment must be made before the beginning of the paid training period (month or semester). Students from Ukraine must pay in Ukrainian Hryvnia (UAH); students from Canada — in Canadian Dollars (CAD).
1.5. Making a payment confirms your place in Lingvomax and your agreement with the “Terms and Conditions of Training.”
1.6. Partial refunds and refunds after the start of the training period are not provided. Payments cannot be transferred to another paid period.
1.7. If a lesson does not take place due to the teacher’s absence, the subscription is automatically extended by the number of such lessons. Rescheduling is possible only in cases of teacher absence.
2. Duration and Formats of Lessons
2.1. Lessons are held at least 2 times per week.
2.2. Duration of one session is 60 minutes (individual and small groups) or 90 minutes (larger groups).
2.3. Training formats: individual lessons and group lessons.
3. Attendance, Tardiness, Absences, and Rescheduling
3.1. You may arrive late for lessons, but the time lost due to tardiness is not compensated or extended.
3.2. Missed group lessons are not compensated.
3.3. An individual lesson can be rescheduled with prior notice (in agreement with the teacher), but no more than four times per month.
3.4. Absences longer than 30 consecutive days may result in expulsion from Lingvomax.
4. Conduct, Ethics, and Zero Tolerance Policy
4.1. We adhere to a strict Zero Tolerance policy regarding any form of discrimination or disrespectful behavior. Any manifestations of linguistic, racial, ethnic, gender, religious, or national discrimination are prohibited.
4.2. Sarcastic remarks, mockery of someone's accent, country of origin, culture, or language level, as well as any forms of bullying or hostile behavior, are strictly prohibited.
4.3. Violation of respectful communication principles may result in a verbal warning or immediate termination of training at Lingvomax without a refund.
4.4. The student is responsible for any damage to Lingvomax property (for offline lessons).
5. Confidentiality and Data Protection
5.1. Your personal information is used exclusively for educational purposes.
5.2. Lingvomax agrees not to share your data with third parties without your direct consent.
5.3. Data storage and processing follow Canadian and Ukrainian data protection standards.
